The first mistake people make is closing the door right after pulling the wet laundry out. Because front-loaders are airtight it traps moisture and becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and mold.
Most front-loaders have a small door at the bottom left corner of the front of the machine. Inside is the drain pump filter which prevents debris from reaching your drain pump housing and plumbing.
Disclaimer: If your machine is not draining well, needs more than one cycle to wring out your clothes or makes strange noises. call a trained professional to inspect, service or repair your appliance to prevent further damage.
